Wireless LAN Study - A comprehensive evaluation and test of 5 leading Wireless LAN products:
- Avaya

Detailed performance information was gathered on each product by conducting the following tests:
- Indoor Range and Throughput - coverage area and throughtput was evaluated in an indoor office environment.
- Maximum Throughput - wireless LAN throughput was measured under best conditions.
- Outdoor Range versus Throughput - measurements demonstrated how the products throughput
degrades over distance.
- Interference Test - products were tested in the presence of a 2.4Ghz interference source to determine their resistance to interference.
- Line-of-Sight Outdoor Range Test - this test was conducted to determine the maximum range of each product in an open environment.
The information
